This small park with nice views is divided into two areas. Off-leash dogs are officially allowed on the west slope of the hill, and as is the case in several city parks, the dog play area has some problematic aspects—very steep trails that are littered with broken glass and trash from nearby homeless encampments, and a fence that has holes in it in uncomfortable proximity to the freeway. Not surprisingly, many people walk their dogs untethered on the upper lawn where leashes are a rule. Watch out for foxtails in late spring.

This is a small park with an even smaller, poorly-maintained off-leash area. Watch out for foxtails.
