The East Bay Regional Park District claims that this is "the largest off-leash dog park in the nation." That may be true, but the appeal of Point Isabel goes way beyond size alone. Here there are wide-open fields, a rocky ocean beach, and some of the heppest hounds in the Bay Area.

Although dogs may run free, you've got to carry a leash and keep dogs under voice control at all times. Don't let your dog dig or otherwise damage the park. Always pick up the poop.
