This is the oldest park in San Francisco. It's a graceful 36-acre space filled with magnificent old trees. There's a designated off-leash area near the Central Ave. entrance, but most people prefer to walk their dogs further away from traffic on the trails that wind through the park. The first Saturday of every month at ten a.m. there's a cleanup organized by D5DOG. One caution: foxtails can be a hazard in the late spring.
