Here you'll find a long, wide beach where dogs are permitted off-leash. This is one of many beaches in the area where conservationists are making an effort to protect the endangered Snowy Plover, so steer clear of their nesting grounds, which are marked with signs. Also note that the waves can get pretty rough here.

From US-280, take the Highway 1 exit to Pacifica. On Highway 1 go about two miles to the Manor exit. At the end of the exit go straight and then take a right almost immediately onto Aura Vista. When this road dead-ends at the ocean, turn right onto Esplanade. Continue north until you see the Lands End condos.
