Enter the park at Folsom St. at Bernal Heights Blvd. or where Bernal Heights Blvd. dead-ends on the south side of the hill. There's a small parking lot at the top of Bernal Heights Blvd and street parking at the dead end.

A large, rugged, and rocky park with steep trails that will provide you and your dog with an excellent workout. At the summit you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of south San Francisco.

Appleton Ave., off of Mission St., runs right into Holly Park Circle, the street that circles the park. Street parking on the streets that run into the park.

This is not an officially designated off-leash area, but many locals come here with their dogs anyway. It provides an opportunity for a gentle stroll, impossible in the nearby Bernal Hill, which is much steeper. There's a playground for children here too.
