Dogs love garbage. They're attracted to rotten
food. The problem is that certain molds and bacteria in spoiled
food produce toxins. If your dog gets into the trash and soon
starts shaking, vomiting, and having diarrhea, he may have garbage
poisoning. Other signs include tremors, seizures, weakness,
or collapse. If he seems very ill, call your vet right away.
Treatment for shock (IV fluids, medication) may be warranted.
